Meiklejohn’s Restaurant & Pub was founded on the belief that everyone needs a place to get away close to home without breaking the bank. Located in the heart of Eldersburg, Maryland, Meiklejohn’s Restaurant & Pub serves up legendary Celtic American cuisine in our spacious 10,000 square foot facility. With our stoned lined walls, warm and cozy fireplaces, Meiklejohn’s offers the perfect setting to spend an evening with friends and family.

Our menu offers many Celtic favorites like Shepard’s Pie, Bangers and Mash and of course corned beef and cabbage. Our classic fish and chips feature two generous portions of fresh cod lightly battered in our own beer batter recipe fried to perfection. For those with a taste for good ‘ol American cuisine, we have you covered as well. From our King’s Cut of Prime Rib to a flame grilled cheeseburger, Meiklejohn’s menu offers just enough to satisfy the most challenging taste buds.

What kind of restaurant would we be if we didn’t serve the traditional Maryland favorites on our menu? Our soon to be famous jumbo lump crab cakes entrees feature two 7 ounce servings of the biggest lump this side of the Chesapeake Bay. Most folks need a box after ordering these colossal crab cakes. For the smaller appetite our 7 oz crab cake sandwich features all of the same jumbo lump morsels as our entrée and can be broiled or fried. For a taste of the gulf, our homemade shrimp salad is a favorite. Were not joking when we say you’re going to need a fork to finish this sandwich!

Enjoy sports in high definition in our pub. Featuring 7 HDTV’s, Meiklejohn’s is a great place to bring a group of friends to enjoy the biggest sport’s events on TV.
